NAIOP is the voice of our industry, and we want members of the Greater Philadelphia chapter to be heard on the issues and ideas most important to them. We advocate for responsible and progressive development practices, ensuring that key stakeholders are always informed about our industry. We are here to work together with decision makers and to help provide solutions to benefit the residents, businesses, and communities we all serve.
Whether testifying in city hall or advocating in the halls of our state’s capitol, we are driven by our focus on development and all aspects that impact it, such as planning and zoning, construction codes, public policy, and asset management.
Paid Internships
Each summer, NAIOP Greater Philadelphia partners with leading local CRE companies to offer paid internships to past-participants of the NAIOP-Drexel Summer Program. Internship focuses include: real estate development, leasing, finance, project management, property management, architecture and engineering. Internship applicants must be an alumni of our summer program, currently enrolled in a college or university, has completed 1 year of higher education with coursework relatable to CRE, has a minimum GPA of 3.0 and is interested in pursuing a career in commercial real estate.

Externship Opportunity
Our annual winter externship program is for college students interested in a career in commercial real estate. Join us during your holiday break for a day-long externship program in a CRE downtown office. This in-person opportunity is for current college students interested in a career in commercial real estate. This one day program is a deep dive into what a career in commercial real estate could look like. The day’s events include panel discussions, shadowing, networking, lunch meeting, professional meetings, Q&A and time with our board of directors.
