NAIOP-Drexel Summer Program for High School Students
Applications are now CLOSED for the 2024 NAIOP-Drexel Summer Real Estate Program.
Drexel University and NAIOP Greater Philadelphia have forged a partnership to offer a comprehensive 10-day residential real estate experience that is specifically tailored to rising high-performing eleventh and twelfth-grade students of color. This program is meticulously designed to provide an insightful introduction to commercial real estate through a wide range of activities that include classroom instruction, interactive panel discussions with industry executives, stimulating site visits, and a thought-provoking case study.
In addition to gaining valuable knowledge about the real estate industry, students also have the opportunity to explore college options and campus life. Moreover, the program offers a dynamic platform for students to participate in team building and leadership activities, as well as engage in a host of recreational pursuits.
The primary objective of this program is to inspire and generate greater interest in real estate as a viable career option among young people of color. The ultimate goal is to facilitate a more diverse future in the industry by providing students with the tools, insights, and connections necessary to succeed in this dynamic field.
College Internships and Externships

Interested in what a career in commercial real estate could look like?
Graduates of our NAIOP-Drexel Summer Program are invited during their college freshman and sophomore years to attend our annual Externship Program during winter break, a day filled with property tours, special education sessions and networking.
During the summers between junior and senior years of college, our paid internship program can take you even deeper as you experience a work environment first-hand.
